What would you consider the best place in the world to hide if you were a Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader? Right, Britain seems to be just the perfect spot for another Islamist with problematic ideological and religious background. While enjoying the merits of political stability, personal liberties in Britain this is also a perfect hub for agitation and political action targeted towards his country of origin – Egypt.

„The Cordoba Foundation“ describes its mission as follows: „The world today is replete with tensions and conflicts on religious and political issues. Whilst some may interpret such conflicts as proof of an inevitable clash between the West and the Muslim world, The Cordoba Foundation (TCF) works alongside many others to prove that such a clash is neither inevitable, nor necessary.“

The Cordoba Foundation conducts pro-Muslim lobbying activities, events, training and publications. Besides books and guides, e.g. on lobbying methods, it publishes a quarterly journal, “Arches”. “Siding with the Oppressor: The Pro-Islamist Left” by John Miller has been written as a companion “Enemies not Allies: The Far-Right” to highlight some of the individuals  and groups on the Left that defend Islamism. The report focuses on the most conspicuous examples of the pro-Islamist Left in Britain, i.e. Stop the War Coalition, Respect Party, Unite  Against Fascism and individuals such as Ken Livingstone and George Galloway.

It exposes their agenda and methods, including the use of accusations of racism and Islamophobia and their conflation of Muslim with Islamist in order to defend Islamism rather than out of any real concern for prejudice against Muslims or the rights of ‘Muslims’ who are incidentally the first victims of Islamism.
